What All Do I Need To Make My Own CAI?

I have a little different combination that I want on my CAI, but do not want to spend $200 for it so I am thinking about piecing together my own. What all will I need other than the intake tube and a filter?

just buy an eBay CAI and a decent filter, like an AEM dryflow and you're set.

All you need is a pipe. A pipe is a pipe. Grab some ebay one. It'll come with the couplers and mounting bracket and everything you need. Eventually, the heat from the engine will wear the cheap rubber out and you'll have to buy quality couplers, but that'll be awhile. And the weakest point is the knockoff air filter. They're good for short term use while you buy a name brand one like K&N. Cheap out on the pipe, DONT cheap out on the filter.
