What first?
I'm planning to get a new exhuast system. What would be the best part to swap out first: cat-back, hi-flow cat, header. I personally would go in that order, but I'd like to hear other suggestions. I plan to get the greddy evo2 cat-back and a DC sports header, but what would be a good "hi-flow cat" to get?

RE: What first?
Since you plan on replacing all that stuff at some point in time, if you can wait, you'll save a lot of time and work if you can save up and then but it at once and replace it all at once.

RE: What first?
Random Technologies for the cat,
Id go cat-back, header, HFC |
RE: What first?
exactly, it will be a lot easier to do it all at once, instead of jacking up the car and going under it unbolting stuff every time you're replace something.

RE: What first?
ya if u do it all at once u'll feel the power boost even more too....i think u'd like that.

RE: What first?
haha if you have the patience to wait, i know if it were me id just wanna die seeing a full catback just sitting there awaiting the arrival of the other parts, but definately go with the greddy evo2 and dc sports header, and ive heard magnaflow makes a good high flow cat, could be wrong but im pretty sure they do.

RE: What first?
Are there any audiofiles on the web, where I can hear the evo?

RE: What first?
There are some on this site, if you hunt around for them.

RE: What first?
Screw waiting. If you have the money for a cat-back now- get it now. Peicing together is more fun to me than dropping it in all at once.
I agree with LEVIII on the order. |
RE: What first?
Always scares me to make any major changes more than one at a time. If something is not done correctly... it makes troubleshooting it REALLY REALLY hard. But that is just me... I suppose if you were super-confident it might make a difference.
