theRDRman 10-20-2010 12:52 PM

what is the stocker plus my car is old so its not worth replacing

stocker = stock. the exhaust manifold will not clean up, it is cast iron. cast iron rusts insanely fast, i'd say you have 3 options.

1. deal with it being rusty and looking like ass
2. sandblast it or get as much of the corrosion off and paint it with super high temp exhaust paint (like black)
3. buy a header, they are as cheap as $40. look around on craigslist. i've got a dc ceramic header on my car now that i got for $50. the one before it was stainless that i got on craigs for $40. they are easy to come by for cheap.

theblackpearl 10-20-2010 09:16 PM

d-series or d16 header.

theRDRman 10-20-2010 09:18 PM

but my engine is d15b2 tho

Scott53092 10-20-2010 09:30 PM

all d series exhaust manifolds will be the same. the only d series that doesn't match up with the others are the d17s in 7th gen civics. anything d series you can use on yours. just search like "civic" and try in the auto parts section.
