Hi guys, I just want to know if there's any benefit out of installing axle back
on my 01 civic. Thank you.

 

an axle back is cheaper than a catback. that's the only benefit i see. i mean, you might gain some hp, but more likely than not, you won't. you might actually LOSE some MPG because your driving will likely become more aggressive since you want to get that throttle open and make some noise lol.

but yea, axle back is cheaper. that's it.

 

Your wallet will thank you in the short run and hate you in the long

 

This is cool because you don't have to take your new exhaust to a shop toget it installed and + you can do it your self just bolt on thats it and remove it when U want and throw the stock back on.

 

^ You don't need to take a cat-back to a shop to have it installed either. You just have one more section of exhaust pipe to unbolt/ bolt on.

Just save up the extra money and get a cat-back. Then, you'll actually see power gains (though probably not much), wheras you won't see any real gains with an axle-back (other than looks).
