hey guys, im starting to mod my civic slowly but surely, convicing my parents into letting me buying stuff for it. But anyways, what do you guys suggest is the best kind of intake i could put into my civic, (2005 EX SE) ? I'm trying to look for the best price and the best brand. Thanks guys.

Cold Air Intake and Short Ram each have their own advantages and disadvantages. CAI is located lower and away from your engine giving it available colder air to inhale. Cooler is better for your engine. You also get more power on the short end when you accelerate with the CAI. For the Short Ram it's much shorter than the CAI which takes a little less work to install. But it inhales all that hot air in your engine bay. It doesn't give you as much power in the short end like the CAI but I've used both intakes and I find that the Short Ram has more take-off during higher speeds. So with all that info, it is really all in preferance. For brands, I would suggest either AEM or Injen. Ebay would be cheapest place to get most of your mods too. After that, try JEGS, Summit Racing, Sport Compact Only, and JCWhitney.
