i have a 99 civic ex coupe and am planning on getting a 1 piece DC ceramic header, but don't know whether to get a 4-1 or a 4-2-1 part.

 

someone can prove me wrong if they wish but i think that 4-1 is used for racing its a one peice where 4 tubes go into one...and 4-2-1 is 4 tubes going into one but a 2 peice...4-1 is for racing

 

it sounds good to me. a while ago i had heard something like that, i just wasn't sure. so i have been looking up prices for a 4-1 DC ceramic header but can't find any prices under $300 including shipping. any suggestions?

DC sport ceramic are good, thats what i have. 4-1 header is better for high end power and better for track racing...4-2-1 header is better low-mid range power and more friendly for street use...depends on what road u plan on going, if ur gena be racing alot, 4-1 is better, if ur just gena hav it for more joy riding and every once in a while race, 4-2-1 would prolly be better. check ebay, i got mine new from there for about $230? or somewhere around there..
