Hi guys.....I finally converted my lx to ex on this saturday......but after I drove 15 minutes when I got out of the car I smell something funny....I got new aftermarket header and magnaflow cat and sjunk2 cat back....is it something wront with the new cat converter or that is just common for new cat converter?
and although all the stuff should be bolted on perfectly I still heard somhting like some iron chips hitting the cat converter.....dont know what to do?
anyone had this kind of experience before?

ya its happened to me before you just have to break the cat and everything in but ya just drive it for awhile and you'll notice the smell slowly go away

 

well i just installed my header last thursday night and got a wierd smell too..but mine is all gone now..its like a braking in smell...

 

its probly oil,grease,ect. burning off and it should go away
