I need a new trunk lid for my 03 hybrid. I can find several for a good price at local salvage yards but they are for the "non-hybrid" 4 door sedans. Apparently the trunk lid for the hybrids are different but nobody (not even my local Honda dealer) can tell me what the difference is and if the non-hybrid trunk lid will work on my car.

Does anybody know the difference and can I interchange them.

 

i would think if anything, it's likely to be mounting points, as I'm pretty sure the Hybrid batteries are in the trunk area, which might make the swing and/or mounting mechanism different.

Best bet is to do a thorough visual inspection of both, possibly even using pictures
