06 Civic Sedan - Wheel questions
Hey everyone, I'm new to the import scene.
I had a gas guzzling truck, and I had to get something a little better at the gas pump.
I make a 60 mile round trip 5 days a week for work. I have found out wheels for these cars are a lot less expensive than wheels for my old truck. I dont want to buy a large wheel then lose a lot of ride comfort. I'm looking for something that looks good but doesn't lose practicality. Would lighter wheels save gas as well? Also, are there other factors I need to look at/for while shopping for wheels? (backspacing, etc)
Thanks!

Yeah, lighter wheels will help your mileage, and performance.
When looking just make sure they're the correct width and lug pattern and you should be set. I'm not sure about the '06's but I think a 17 would be a good size for them. You could even get away with an 18 but then like you said, your ride quality would be going down.

If you put 17's with a "lower" profile to match the size of the stock 16" would you still need to lower the car?
