Default 1991 hatch fenders

All my fenders are rusted, and i was wondering if i am better off getting new fenders or just repairing the rust. i can do all the rust work myself, and i can weld as well. the rust has not fully penetrated but its close.

I am going to get the car painted in the spring, right now i'm planning on preparing it.

Thanks

Well if you can repair all the rust yourself, it might be cheaper that way rather than getting all new bumpers

what i would do is just replace them, less time to do it and then you've got brand new fenders.just be carefull no to break any bolts off if you decided to,makes it a pita to do.but fixing the rust would be cheaper.
