I am looking to get something like this dash and some pods to put in... did anyone buy theirs off ebay? does it look good installed? I just wonder how it actually looks because I have a man/tran and my gas gauge seems to extend where the pod sticks out... just a concern... what do you guys think or know about this? Any suggestions on pods (ie turbo, temp, volt)? I am next swapping the engine for a k20 with turbo so I just want to do the cheap stuff first.

get it..it would look good, you mide as well buy good gauges now tho since your going to need them in the future,i have sen thos installed on alot of cars, i think they block a little bit of the display but not that much, you can also consider getting a piller pod like i have, or make somthing custom..here are some pics to give you some ideas and the pic of a car that has it already, first car is the piller pod, that ones made of fiberglass but its the same position, second is custom in the dash, and the same pod that you posted, you can see it block a little, and the third i think is pretty sic, i like it..if i get more gauges i would do somthng like that..thos are goast gauges..very expensive

that's what I'm going with for my A/Fr and Boost/Vac gauges for the boost project. Mainly because I ****ing hate pillar pods

 

i dunno about buying an ebay one but i like that style a **** load better than pillar pods. just looks a lot cleaner..

 

I wouldnt worry about it, it's just a plastic frame. The gauges themselves on the other hand, I would not get from ebay
