2004 Honda Civic Custamization
Hey guys, Im a owner of a 2004 Honda Civic Ex. Ive been thinnking about changing its body, its paint and some new wheels. First let me start with the body. I have been looking at body kits for a while now but can't really seem to find what I like. I have been through a couple of websites including CarID, Andysautosport. Now im looking to get something that looks nice but is affordable.Ive looked into the R34 body kit but want better. Also whats the difference between AIT or Duraflex. Which one is better?. I have also wanted to get new headlights, Ive liked the beamer lights but cant seem to find any similar for Honda, does anyone know where I could find some? or maybe some halo lights. I have also looked into getting a dual exaust system for my car, I know its a waste because it wont add much power, but I dont really care about the power, I probably wont be racing it so I just want it for the look. Does anyone know where i can find a system for it? Ive looked into flow master, and I like theirs but im just not sure if I should buy the whole system or just the attachable cap since i only care about the look. Or does anyone know which is better? Because i actually want something thats gonna quiet down my exaust noise, I wouldnt want my car to sound like it has alot of horse power when it really doesn't. Lastly, I want to change my stock spoiler. Ive looked into the GT Wing but am not sure if it would look good on my civic. I want something thats not to big nor to small but sporty. I actually want something thats pure steel or something like that and not Plastic or carbon fiber. Like I said, I want nice looking parts at affordable prices. Also I want a new anti-theft system. Someone told me i could install a kill switch in my car. A flip switch that would cut my electricity or something like that, wouldnt that affect the alarm as well? Ive been looking into the viper alarm but somehow feel like its not enough.

Moved out of the project section.
You need to break up that paragraph since it look like a wall of text. Just a helpful hint for next time. Makes everything much easier when complete thoughts/question are kept separate.
Andysautosport sucks. Read reviews.
Dont waste time with body kits. They will not fit correctly, costing more money than you would expect and they are very fragile. Stick with OEM bumpers and a lip kit. Cheaper and looks MUCH better. Can be found on ebay for like $75.
If you really want this dual exhaust crap, go to an exhaust shop and they can make something up for you. It will be entirely custom for the most part as there are no hangers on the driver side for an exhaust to mount up to. Youtube to find which muffler or set-up you want based on sound clips etc.
A big wing will do nothing except attract unwanted attention. A spolier allows for more downforce to help stabilize and provide more traction for the rear wheels when going 80+mph. Since you car is FWD, it does nothing. If you are desperate to have a wing, go OEM, or with a m3 trunk lip. Again, eBay has then cheap and they simply stick on rather than bolt on, creating holes in your trunk if you go with the park bench looking spolier.
Viper is a respectable alarm company.
Any car can have kill switches. For the fuel pump, main relay, ecu, and much much more. Yes, it cuts the power, but not to the alarm. You would be cutting the power for a part needed to start the car. It is a layer of security (do not bank on only one thing to stop thieves), the more layers, the more people will walk away from it after trying to start it. Remember, if they REALLY want it, they will tow it away. Nothing really can be done about that.
Sounds like you have a lot of research to do.

Well Ive spent a couple of hours researching ...
The bumper idea of OEM bumpers and Lip Kits but am not really to crazy about it. I saw a bunch of pictures of older cars that looked great with the lip kit but none really of a 2004 Civic Coupe with its stock parts.
I dont really like OEM wings either, they look just like my stock wing and i really dont want my car to stay stock. I also don't like the M3 wing either. Any more ideas?
Well thats great, I didn't know there were many kill switches available. What does each one do? Which few do you recommend the most? And where would i be able to find a professional to install them?
I really want my car to look nice, Ive always been a fan of customization ever since Need For Speed started and always wanted my car to look somewhat similar to that. Of course I know that its just a game and some things aren't possible but suggestions and ideas are welcome people.
