I just bought a 2005 civic hybrid in the Magnesium Metallic color. I was planning to replace the stock stereo but found out that dash kits for the 2005 honda civic only come in black and my interior is metallic gray. The dash colors around the stock stereo is very close to the exterior.

Am I mistaken that the dash kit only comes in black?

How do I find the exact color of the current area around the stereo so I can possibly paint it?

Are there specific things I should do for better paint results?
