95 Honda Civic need new rims any ideas
16" will be fine. Also, 205/40/17 tires are an extremely uncomfortable ride.
You joined just to try to sell your cheap wheels? You're aware you're violating forum rules, right?
And stu, chill out and stop being a wheel size ****. 17's can look fine on a civic if done right.

With that kit, 17" Grids would look best. I usually think the only civic that can look good with 17s is a sedan. But a body kit adds enough bulk for them to look ok. I had 17s once, and the ride isn't as terrible as you might think depending on your suspension setup. I have had 14s all the way up to 17s, and I still say 16s are the best.
^ That.
With the stock suspension, 17's aren't that uncomfortable. With extremely stiff coilovers and adjustable struts dialed pretty stiff, things got a little bumpy. The only thing about 17's (actually, any wheels at all) is that they look really out of place at stock height. And in this case, the body kit is the only reason I say 17's. Normally I'd recommend 15's for EGs and 16's for EKs.

I had 17" rims and I know that I don't like them. I'm not just saying they look too big, I am saying they aren't comfortable to ride on if you have 205/40/17 (or shorter sidewall) tires. I have the experience of driving on them for a year to back this up. I have driven with them on stock shocks and springs... not comfortable. I have driven with them with my current setup (KYB AGX and H&R Sport Springs)... also uncomfortable.
I personally think that 17" look just a tad bit too big, but who knows... with certain style wheels it might look good. But that's not my point.
OP If you want to feel every crack in the road, go ahead and be my guest.

And do you see the tag under my screen name? See how it says "moderator"? That means it's not a bright idea to antagonize me.
And by "violating forum rules", I meant I'm considering banning you for it. Your ignorance isn't helping your cause, either.
Have a nice day.
