Question 96-00 sunroof sizes

Hey, random question, will a sunroof from a 2dr 99-00 civic fit on a 2dr 96-98 civic? Did they change the size at all?

Edit: My bad. I was thinking I posted this under help. Got my tabs screwed up apparently. Well, its for tinting, I'm wondering how much I need to order. So I guess it counts as appearance as well? I can find the dimensions of a 99-00, but not 96-98 (what I have). So I was wondering if among the other things they changed in the 99-00 if they changed the sunroof size.

they should be the same size.
whats wrong with yours? glass break or the motor go bad?
if its just going slow id say pull it out and just grease the worn gears and see if that helps.

Actually, my sunroof's motor is the only one that works well. Passenger side is just about to die, and the driver side isn't far behind.

I'm going to be helping a friend tint his Jeep, and I was thinking of slapping some 5% on my sunroof while I'm at it. So I was trying to figure out how much tint I'm going to need. I can never find a bloody measuring tape when I need one. :P

Once you have it tinted, make sure you post a pic up. I am interested in doing this myself.

Will do. There's a lack of pictures up, so I'll try to get some pics of the process as well. Taking the sunroof out doesn't look too hard, which should make the job super easy. I got quoted $70 to get it tinted awhile back, and that was only going to be 27%.

you can tint it with it in the car.... they tinted mine when i had the rest of the car done on my old 99.
simply trace the roof with the tint, clean the glass and apply from the inside and flip the sunroof up to work the bubbles out the back easier.
i wouldnt go thru the hassle of pulling the sunroof just to tint it.

I wasn't liking the idea of trying to tint something above my head. Its a whopping 2 screws and 4 10mm bolts. :P Pop it out, slap the tint on there, pop it right back in. Done in about 15 minutes total, start to finish. And that was at 2 am. :P

Anyhow, I did it, looks great. 5% is DARK. I'd never, ever, ever want it on a window I actually need to see out of.
