Default 99 ex coilovers

just got these rims from a friend the other day put them on and definitly noticed the huge gap. Theyre 16's and handle great but how low do you guys think i should go. Keep in mind i do live in maine so there are some pot holes here and there. also how much you think i would be spending on a good solid set of coilovers? i never thought i would ever lower my car so i have no clue for pricing.

Here's a couplepics for reference:

Prices differ from 300 to over 1000. It just depends on how nice you want the coiovers

those tires look kinda small... maybe its just the picture...

for my civic i went with some Ground Control coilovers for a good ride with standard spring rates, and also real quick and easy to lift it back up to close to stock height for winter driving clearance! so far i love them!!!!

what tire size do you have on there man? those look like they have a lower profile than the tires on my 17s.

yea theyre pretty small i wanna say theyre 40mm, im just guessing cuz im too lazy to go outside and look. but they are pretty slim. I actually had to haul some stuff the other day that put weight and made it look lower, and it didnt look bad but i stilll might go with an inch bigger next spring. The kicker was that I still had winter tires on last week so i needed anything i could get so i didnt wear them out.

If you get new rims i wouldn't mind buying those off of you. Just name your price.

i believe he is just talking about buying larger tires...
205/45-16 (2.24% larger than stock) https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_538511/tm.htm
recomended tire sizes for different size rims.
