I AHVE a quick easy question in his DIY it said "When you have found this wire, use a wire tap and connect the wire from the ecu to the LED." {patrick DIY vtec light instillation (step 8)} does that mean i can splice the wire and tap on the positive of the led. i have to elave this wire connected to the gauge cluster though right?

i am having trouble finding the green and yellow wire, going to the ecu, anyone know any tricks so i can find it easier?

sorry, it was psted by him! so i thought he did , apparently i am looking for a orange wire with a white stripe on it, i can not locate it , should i remove the metal brace that is holding the ecu in too look at the ecu better to find it it is probg 4 in the part a with 26 prongs of the ecu!

 

well for one its a green wire with a yellow stripe so you might want to start there...

 

thank you, i spliced the wire coming from the vtec solenoid it was actually green and yellow, i attached a wire going to the positive of my led, the thing is my led is from a little flashlight and it has a chip on it and such, i think i have to get a normal led. i attached a ground,. If my motor has the solenoid it is VTEC right?
