welll first of cut the resistros extra wire so it doesnt short out across the resistor...and yes you can wire it off the back of the cig lighter but id still add a fuse in thier....

no problem man...
everyones gotta start somewhere... just remember to fuse anything that you add!
if not and your wire shorts out and the fuse is either to large or worse... no fuse at all.... can very easily catch your car on fire and any fire is very serious!
but as long as is properly fused... if the wire shorts out it simply pops the fuse and ya find out the problem and fix it and go on with your day

everyones gotta start with something.... hopefully youll be able to do it again or start doing more in the future... hell i started out with some fog lights, worked into stereos, then my lighting, then alarms, remote starters, and still advancing... takes awhile to get comfortable with everything but once ya get the basics thats all ya need...

what can i say... i love my lights
tho i still have to upgrade my side cathodes to the flex strips

i got my 2 9.5inch blue strips BUT im just to lazy to instal them.LOL cause i want to wire them into my door pin switches so i gotta chop some of the factory wires to hook em up right...

 

Also I think those "reverse lit" speedometer would look nice, are those hard to install and good on eBay?
