the duraflex is made of fiberglass, platic, and some type of flexible resin.it does flex alot but im not sure if it can a direct impact .but its your car get what you think looks good but i do remember you saying that you change your mind often so ponder this one.

Hmm wasnt trying to make anyone angry .

Reaper NICE pics. car does look better with the lip, and thanks for keeping your opinion on the topic and not bias.

see i have about 2.5k, and im trying to make the most of it. and ill have more money later to do more, but for now 2.5 is what im sittin on.

i really dont care too much for body kits, i can live without one, but i do also think they look nice.

in other words if the price is right, ill get one.

i have said this elswhere in this post, but ill state again.

i dont like the headlights on my 01-03 civic. but i think the 04-05 civic headlights look amazing. so i am doing a swap. simple as that. with all new parts it costs.

115.00 x 2 Fenders
230.00 x 1 Hood
150.00 x 1 Headlights
050.00 x 1 Grill
230.00 x 2 Bumpers (front + rear)
???.?? x 1 paint job (trying to find good price, with good quality atm.)

1120.00 + tax + s/h

this is what i first wanted to do. maybe even drop it some.

then i found b-2 body kit for 644.00, comes with bumpers (front + back) and sideskirts. (i belive this price includes s/h) if you find better LET ME KNOW. has to be duraflex or better.

230.00 x 2 bumpers = 460.00, so for an extra 180.00 i get a body kit made out of decent material. (in other words PRICE IS RIGHT.)

anyway thats the situation.

If you guys cant get over the LIP idea, shoot me some good pics of 04-05 civics with them on there. who knows i could change my mind all together about lips.

but for now im going b-2 kit, and YES it will be "cool" that i spent alot of money on it.

I was SSOOOO close to getting a turbo. not new, used.
(this was before i even started looking for bodykits.)

price for new:
DEZOD turbo kit 2500.00
KPRO 1200.00
Tune 400.00
Install 400.00

Price i was getting:
all 3000.00

PLZ believe i went for performance first. i would much rather have that turbo, but long story short deal went bad , so now im going for looks.

For $2500 you could probably piece a turbo setup together, assuming you were willing to get some of the more expensive parts used.

Anyway, here's some EM2s with lips:

(I believe that car actually had an EM1 (99/00 civic SI) lip, apparently they fit)

A clean-a** stock-bodied EM2:

Another clean one with what looks like a type-r lip (I could be mistaken on the lip):

If you have some time, check out this thread. It has a couple good 04/05's, and a ton of clean 01-03's.

And personally I like the 01-03 rear end better than the 04-05 rear.

That's funny, cuz I was looking at the exact same body kit. Then decided I wanted a lip kit. Only problem is, there is no lip package, you got to mix and match everything. Least that was all I could find. I hate mix matching. If anybody knows a lip kit package that includes front, rear lip and side skirts, by all means, lol, point me in the right direction.

leave the side skirts stock, and then check ebay for a front back package.

Well i have decided lip kit is deff not for me, even though some do strike my intrest, im either going stock or bodied 04-05 civic.

another reason i dont want a lip kit:
i would have to buy the 04-05 front bumper and back bumper, then buy the lip kit to go with it! not too big of a deal... but ya

still undecided on either body kit or stock. (WHAT DO YOU THINK?) hope i can figure it out quick, all this thinking is rattleing my brain !!!

with body kit i shouldnt need a drop.
with stock i will deff drop that b!tch.

thanks for all the help guys.
