why the hell do people put holes in there bumpers???

 

because its mad jdm tight yo! or they have a really fast car that actually can use them to minimize wind resistance. take ur pick

 

supposedly to reduce weight AND wind resistance. by cutting holes in your bumber you automatically gain 50HP, along with a bonus 30 points each in both the "UGLY" and "RICER" catagories...

 

on cars that really could use it(like at least an 11 sec q mile time) i think it doesnt look bad. but if you got a civic with just headers and a shortram and do it, i might just be tempted to shove potatoes in the damn holes

 

Its mostly used for drag cars on the strip. But some people do it to be "cool".

thanks for the imput, i was just wondering about it cause i saw some spanish guy with a 5th gen sedan at dunkin dounuts with the holes in the front and rear....
then again he did have a bookshelf and chrome hubcaps lol
