I just picked up a 95 LX. It's got rust on both the rear fenders. It's not that bad but it'll need to be cut out and fixed. Can anyone thats had this done tell me what they were charged? I don't even want them to paint it, just to remove the rust and prime.

I'm just gunna replace the doors (creases are on both sides too)... Unless it'll be cheaper to get just that panal replaced/repaired. Mainly I'm just worried about the rust though for now.

is it just rust or is it also wrap or dented? If it just rust you can probably sand it down to the bare metal and use touch up paint to paint it. But that would be a lot of work. Maybe in the hundreds...

damn, I guess I'll use a good sander and some bondo. Anybody got a recomendation for the grit of the sand paper? Should I use a belt or a wire brush? I've never done any rust removal before. Just bolt-on body work.
