Well last week i used VHT nightshade on my tailights and it worked great. Nice smooth glossy finish and the light shines through like its not even there. This stuff is strong and sticks really good, so it dawned on me.....can i use this stuff to tint my windows??? I kno most of u are gon say jus get it done at a shop but i dont have 300 dollars to blow on somethin like tint so 2 9$ cans of nightshade is much more practical. Im guessing some1 has tried this or knows some1 who has.....so plz tell me what u kno!!! I cant think of any reasons why it wouldnt work..aside from it not sticking to glass but im pretty sure it will anyways watd u think??

 

can you see through the pastic on the other side with no problems? if yes, then go ahead and try it..

but seriously man, your just setting yourself up for a headake down the road..get it tinted properly when you get the cash

 

$300 for tint? man here for my civic its 159 for all windows and the band across the front window

 

well its hard to tell if you can see cuz its a tailight and wit the reflectors and red lens its hard to tell wat u r looking at......but with the clarity of light that shines through im 99.9% sure that youll b able to see

 

yea thats MA for ya........4 estimates between $275-$310 i really dont see why its so expensive and knowing anywhere else in the country its 150$ makes me pissed lol

 

if you really want to do it..go find a piece of glass and test it out on that first

yea out here in new york its like $175 for tint!....+2 on the piece of glass test!
