Can I get the plexiglass off that protects the gauges ?
I have a 2002 Civic and I would like to take off the plexiglas that protects the speedometer and clean the back side of it. Somehow, some liquid dripped down
behind the glass and I can't clean it unless I take it off.
I see there are two screws above the plexiglass. Will this do it ?
I don't want to screw it up. So I thought I better ask first.
Thank you.

aight so your best bet is to take out the whole cluster, its one big modular unit. k, here is a quick DIY from what i remember on PitchBlack's 02 Sedan...
1. Remove both screws in the top of the black plastic trim surrounding the gauges.
2. Now, pop out that piece. It will be kind of hard because there are two clips in the bottom, just pull kinda hard and it will pop out.
3. Now there should be 3 screws holding the gauge cluster in. I think its 2 on the side and 1 on the top.
4. Disconnect both wire clusters that plugin to the top of the cluster and pull it out of the dash.
5. Here is kind of the bitch part. Grab a standard screwdriver and pushdown all the clear tabs that suround the gauge cluster. I did the whole top first which made it real simple to get the bottom to slide right off.
6. Aight, it should all be apart now and all you gotta do now is not get it all dusty before you put it back together. Ummm, well i guess in this step you clean it.
7. Put the damn thing back together just how you took it apart!
TaaDa!!! *takes a bow*
I'll be here all day folks, lol.
