I'm going to replace my Carbon Fiber LED mirrors with Carbon Fiber mirrors without the LEDs. I am also going to cover my gas door up with a carbon fiber decal to compliment the mirrors. Do you guys think this will looks alright?

And the carbon fiber decal sheet im getting is 4 feet long, and i want to use it up on my interior (I'm thinking about doing custom gauges) or exterior but i cant think of any other places i could put it. What are some suggestions for the best places to put carbon fiber to accent your interior and exterior?

 

that would be cool...that would make a cool look! u can put around ur booot to ur shifter...if u hava nice deck, u can but it around the whole council!....exterior wise im not too sure..i'll jus buy the parts!

 

Are you using real carbon fiber? If so, the interior will look really nice, but the fake stuff...like your mirrors, won't look good on the interior.

 

ya those mirrors are fake carbon fiber like frozn said. i hope you dont go the cheap route and do everything right the first time. saves a lot more money that way

 

no i dont think the adhesvie sheet is real carbon fiber, but what can go wrong compared to having REAL carbon fiber decals? Thats a serious question, not a cocky retorical (sp?) question. Sorry if it sounded that way.

 

Me personally it's real carbon fiber or nothing atall but I'm a junkie and am willing to spend the money needed for real cf. My headliner cost me $440, my shift **** was $20 my boot (non hardened cf cloth) was $20, my soon to arrive door pannel inserts cost me $220, my gauge bezel surround was like $10 and I think my next purchase will either be a cf center console $240ish or gas door $100ish......

I'd say if you want/like the fake cf look than go with it as a theme ( you can get fake cf most anything off ebay), me personally I'd go real but that's because I think fake cf is a waste and looks tacky- this is just my opinion-.
