Default carbon fibre hood

hey all, im new to the site, and i own a 2006 honda civic si, and im looking to purchase a carbon fibre hood, and i was wondering if it was fine just the way the hood is once installed, or will i need more support like hood pins (to be installed) i overheard i would maybe need some because of caution with the hood on highways. If anyone could reply to this i would greatly appreciate it, thanks, John

no just get a quality hood for good fitment. and then when you put it on just adjust the latch so it closes really flush. ( seibon, vis, or carbon creations )

- I'm in the process of installing OEM spec CF hood, got it from Erebuni, went to Honda dealer for weather stripping, windshield washer spray nozzles and hose clips, hope to install Friday
