hey guys, im new but you can check out my intro. in "new members".....

this summer i wanted to do something different with my 00 si...i already have a WW lip kit, and it looks nice and clean, but i want to go w/ a lil out of the ordinary....and still not cross over into rice...

right now im actually in the process of buying some new CF fenders from a fellow honda lover in akron for the great price of $200....ive taken them to a body shop and they fit my application....but id also like to change up my front bumper style.....

i have the lip kit, but that seems to be the new craze nowadays...although i do admit going the lip route keeps the "clean" look....

so w/ these new fenders, i was wondering if the bumper Cf too is too much...i checked the web and found the site which has the fenders im in the process of buying, and i just wanted to see you guy's opinion on the whole "CF front"

o yea i do have a CF hood too[&:]........i like the look but i want to keep it clean..

 

i was also wondering how would the whole insurance thing go.....it would kind of suck to get it all set up and drive it for a week then get smacked in the front, and my insurance company give me the cost of repairs for stock bumper and fenders.....thanks guys

 

If your car is black, I say go for it. But I think that blue civic is really ugly with a black front end and the rest of the car blue. I have seen a full front end on RSX CF and it looked really sweet..Ill actually post the picture in a couple hours when I get home.

 

yea its blue....but my rotas (i like rotas so dont laugh)...are c8's and their like a brownish-greyish color..and they go really well with the CF....thanks for the post though, and ill apprecitate the pic.....

CF bumper would be kind of odd, but a carbon fiber hood, lip kit, mirrors, gas door, trunkand fenders would look crazy look at jhsplaya08's photo gallery for a look at something similar to what i mentioned

if your gonna get fenders then you need to get a bumper. i wouldnt get anymore cf though. maybe a cf lip and trunk or something. i dunno i just think all that other is a little much.

 

yea, i just dont want to over due it....that and i dont have that kinda money to throw around....do u guys have any info./advice on the insurance thing?

 

you have to check with YOUR insurance company.

 

haha ican see how myCF decaldoor could be bad, but honestly with a trunk, hood and lip kit i think it looks sick man...as long as it's real CF
