Default Changing interior light bulbs

I keep finding a bunch of write ups on how to change the colour of the LED's in you dash lights/gauge lights, etc. Is there a way to just buy some lights that are used at stock ones in the car, but in different colours? Also, does anyone have a write up for changing the lights in the climate controls on 96-98 civics (mainly getting the thing removed)?

you can buy some led bulbs that will go right in thier... BUT dont expect a even glow... will probably have bright and dim spots all over....

find out what bulb you want to replace.... and this site is good for replacement ledbulbs....

So what FAQ would you suggest for removing the climate control lights in 96-98 civics? Also, couldn't I just pull the gauge cluster out and change the leds in there? What leds would I use? Website or part number anyone?

Well if I used leds and can I just use the wiring that's already in there or would I have to do something different? I've just seen a lot of ones that add a strip of LEDs or use LED bulbs but with speaker wire to power them and other weird ideas and I want to do as little change as possible.

if you just change the bulb color this is what you'll get:

That's not that bad at all. I don't like the colour, but the amount of light is fine. Where did you get the bulbs for it? (I'm not much for painting the bulbs)

take your bulbs out paint them and youll have them in buy night, before i got my eg4 cluster i had painted mine with an orange paint and they came out red, but i ended up just going with the eg6 climate control and eg4 cluster.
