i would defintely put suspension as top priority even before rims!! trust me you dont want to drive around with 17 inch rims and a big gap in the fenderwell! I did for a month and it got to my head so bad that I went out and bought springs without researching. Stupid me bought Tein H techs and that only gave my car a 1 inch drop... and then I switched to S techs but with 17 inch rims i still had a 2 finger drop all the way around. My shocks were blown and I didn't even know it. The gap, though minor, was always pissing me off and I would always stick my fingers in there to see if it lowered some more or "settled" in, but it never did and one day I just forked over the money to get tein coilovers. Best mod on the car so far... No longer do I have to worry about gaps!!
So please consider suspension in the form of springs and aftermarket shock or just get full coilovers and be happy with it, especially if you're someone like me who hates seeing the gap!
goodluck

yeah i relaise suspention is a lot of people's priority, but it's not mine, i honestly do not notice or care about it looking like a "4x4" i didn't even notice wheel gap until it was poitned out to me by someone else... it's the last thing i look for on a car.

But that's personal opinion.

EDIT: if i wnated to go for a 2" drop, can you give me a link to what i would need to buy? would i need new structs/shocks or just the springs? if it's just the springs, wouldn't the shocks/struts bottom out?

i wouldnt just go for springs only, i did at first and my shocks were blown within a month. The problem with springs and shock combo is that they are not adjustable and 17 inch rims will usually raise the car. I had tein s techs on 17 inch rims and the rode very nicely but still had a tight 2 finger gap. I would just get tein basic coilovers or adjustable ground control coilover springs. I'm not sure if any springs are designed to drop our cars 2 inches... (with 17 inch rims)

i was looking in another thread on here witha guy that just did the tein-s springs on stock shocks and 17"s and it looked sufficient for me, dropped it about 1.5" which i'd be ok with, wouldn't be "4x4" but also wouldn't be tucked.

I'd also ened to take in to consideration my winters to make sure they'd have clearance, they'd be only 14" rims, but i'd have to make sure i get the right tires to try to make it so my speedo isn't completely inaccurate.

heres my car on s techs and stock shocks. That guy should get new shocks asap because they'll blow soon. I wouldn't reccomend springs with stock shocks at all. I would get a good coilover set and raise it up during the winter and lower it to your exact liking during the rest of the year. You have that luxury with coilovers, but they are a little bit pricier and the ride is pretty stiff, but trust me you'll get used to it!
The first night I drove with my coilovers I was totally regretting it, but a month later I'm used to them and they feel awesomeand I love the handling.

yeah, for me personally that looks great, any more than that and you get in to issues with camber and sway bars and all that garbage, just leads to mroe and more mods, the madness must stop, i've already spent over $1000 in mods and i dont even take delivery of the car for another 6 hours.

My weekend is already booked with installing mods, gotta go to my borths place to install my wheels and possibly springs if i get them before saturday... (we're actually going out there for a visit, but my brother has a 2 post hoist, makes life easy)

at a local car import store... I believe its the RSX JDM integra front. Fitment is not exact, but more like 95/100, which is good enough. I also added super glue around the edges. The rear is also from the RSX but it had to be customized since the pins did not match up. seeya!
