I think what he is talking about is called the starshield or something similar. It's a factory option on Lotuses, I'm not sure about specifics but you can't see it unless you look really close.

Exactly what I was thinking. I also saw them on newer Subaru's when I worked at a dealership. One thing though, is that if you put it on you better make sure you do it right. It can ruin your paint. Personally I wouldn't do it.

You guys all know that I'm talking about a 3M clear bra (or another brand), and not one of those black bras right? And I wouldnt just have anybody put it on; there are a few shops in SLC, UT that specialize in tint and clear bras. From the one's i've seen, you barely can even see it on the car. I was more curious on how they hold up. Oh, Im going to get the tint for sure.

If you want your front end to look good, then take care of it.
I thought that adding a clear bra would be a way to take care of my front end and not allow any bad rock chips to even happen....

spitek60, was your clear bra a 3M brand?

All bra's of any shape, kind, or size should be INCINARATED.

Yeah it was a 3m brand, and you can't even see it on the car. My car is white, and any fading would turn it yellow. None whatsoever.
