Color Difference?

So I am looking into doing a little painting on my ride. I'm gonna be painting the boarder of a new grill white.

Now, I own a white 98 Civic, so it's been around awhile. Obviously the paint isn't going to be exavley the same shade as the day it rolled out of the factory. The question I have is, will there be a huge color difference between the new paint job, and the car's color? And if so, will it be noticable.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks, guys.

From experience, in the summer I had the passengers rear quarterpanel painted. It doesn't match up perfectly, but its not too bad. Sorry I have no pictures of it.

I used to detail cars and I ran into this alot. I would just buff the hell outta the old paint and itd match up pretty well. But yes at first there will probably be a noticable difference....

Agree...When i painted the hood of my accord it was also white. I had to buff the car completely so the new paint can blend with the old paint. After it has been buff it will just be slightly off until it gets a little burn by the sun then it will match good
