Okay, here's a little teaser of the car coming out of hibernation... (winter sucks)

It is super foggy right now in my Hometown.



I got an alignment yesterday (my 3-year "lifetime" alignment is almost up)
I had my windshield replaced this morning, only 100 bucks with insurance.

Lip is to be paint matched along with a type-r rear lip to match.


I installed the HOP console in and the Cup holder/Coin tray.


I finally got my diagnostic gauges in (Volts, Oil Pressure, A/F aka Light Show)

I also picked up a set of seats from a 98 Integra last night. Lumbar Support!!!!

 

Thats pretty nice work there. I like the radio position swap with the cup holder add on. Got any more info on where those parts came from and hard is it to do that swap?

Nice seats too, i hope to be able to get those seats sometime maybee this summer if money permits.

 

The HOP console can be found in a bunch of places. But, it's almost always backordered.
Make sure you get a LHD one!! There are slight differences like mounting hole positions and the side is further out on the passeger's side.

The Cup Holder/Coin tray is from a Ford Taurus believe it or not. You need to cut some stuff off of the back of it with a dremel.

Putting everything in is pretty easy. But if you want an aftermarket CD player where mine is you have to be good with a dremel.

 

I think the black emblem on the hood looks awesome on the white car - nice! i know I picked out the smallest thing done, but I like it.

 

Thanks man! I painted it with 3-4 light coats of flat black to make it a gunmetal-ish color. You can still kind of see the chrome shimmer through the flat black.

 

just one question...why only replace the gas pedal and not the clutch and brake as well?

hahaha i just got my tarus cup holder thing... tho i dont like those 4 holes on the front! not sure what im gonna do about it... might just fill them and paint over it.... what part did you have to cut off? J/W


ive been ordering parts to swap a 96-00 center console part up front and mold it to fit.....
i got all the parts to do it now.... just to lazy to do it just yet... trying to plan my 99civics new build.

Those four little holes i beleive are to remove the holder from the slot
