so i got this idea from an article i was reading in my modified mag. the article was talking about how some people are starting to bring back the old/retro/classic car features and incorprorate them into their cars. so the writer ened it with a challege for others to branch out and do their crazy ideas and what not. so anywho my crazy thought with no current real intention to doit is what would my 08 honda civic si look like if i was to do some custom work and turn it from sunroof to t-tops like you would see on old cameros or something. not sure how it would look but that would defintly be a unique thing. eh just wanted to type this out and just see what some of u would think if you saw this. again for my disclaimer- i am not planning to do this. the only chance in **** that i would do this is if i had money to burn and had nothing eles to do to the car cause it would cost so $$$ and time cus oviously it would all have to be custom

yea ummmm no that kind of stuff is meant for the older cars unless its a supra with the targa tops. they are talkin bout bringin back cars like the new mustangs, the new charger, or the new camara that is supposed to be released soon.

 

convertible Civics have been done, and although it is unique, i think its a bit too much

yea 95civic1.6l i think it might just void the warranty lol. nah this was just a crazy thought. i would cost like mucho $$$$ cause the work to remove the sunroof, and then basically almost tottally redo the roof to make a central beam and the t tops that don't leak and all that. who knows if i win the lottry i might just do just so people will double take and be like WTF???

I think it's be cool. I'd like to see it.

 

t tops suck. You have to get out of the car, pop them off, put them in the trunk. And repeat to put them back on. (I had a camaro before)

 

yea well peps say coupes suck cause you got to get in and out to let backseat riders out and in.but i still got one.

but yea i think this would be cool just have to think how to do it so that it looks proportinal (can't spell w/e). on your camero it look like it fit but with the roof of the civic being shorter don't know if it will look right.

 

I use to drive a camaro every now and then I liked the t-tops but I only drove it when my dad was not driving it, it was only a v-6 so it was his work car becasue of the good fuel mileage.
