You guys have heard me yacking about a stock bumper with 2 exhaust ports... i cant find one. It has just dawned on me that couldnt i get a custom one made out of fiber glass? Do any of you know how much that is going to cost? it should be too much. I wonder if I can find a marine fiberglass maker to do it cheaper...... (i live in charleston... big port here)

you could just cut another exaust port on the other side of the bumper...if u use a saw zaw or somthing it shoould turn out nice.

 

hehe, its a SAW-ZALL, not zaw. but i wouldnt use one, use a die-grinder, it will come out better.

I would have done that along time ago but the bumper had a thicker plastic aera where the slot was shave for the tail pipe.... it a differnt story on the other side. Id have to use some sort of body fill to make it look factory, walk by an study a 99-00 bumper the next time you see one. Oh, sacicons, did you get my pm on the stickies?

i wouldnt have a boat maker make your bumper. they will use the fiberglass mat and way too much resin. it will be real heavy. it needs to be made out of fiberglass sheet. i would really just make the section where you want the muffler to stick though and then mold that into your bumper. i have half an idea of what im talking about. here are some pics of me at work working with fiber glass on some airplane parts. i do it everyday. the guy with the mustache is my dad, im theother one
