I was wondering how to do a custom grill on my 94' lx 4 door. I dont like that this model doesnt have any grill and wanted to know if anyone has a DIY for this. Im a noob

 

what kind of grill? Like mesh behind the openings in the bumper? The 5th gens don't have much for grills like the 6th gen's do, so i imagine the mesh is what you're talking about.

 

I was wondering about like more than just the mesh behind the bumper, like maybe cutting the bumper or something to make it like the grills on the later models

yeah sounds like alot of work, but dude, honestly in my opinion if done wrong, the mesh in the bumper can be one of the tackiest mods EVER. If done with some strong and sturdy mesh thats level and installed cleanly, and then maybe painted black or something, it'll look good. On some body kits i've seen the mesh left silver and it wasn't too bad either, but thats just my opinion.

 

Hes not talking about the mesh, hes talking about making a hole in the bumper and actually making a custom grill like the sixth gen civics.

 

well only CUSTOM GRILL i want on my rides is "BILLET" bar style... i think they make them for the 92-95 civics but not for 96-00s
after i paint my 94civic im definatly going to buy a billet grill inserts for it!

ive always wanted to do my 99civic but with it it would all be guess work when buying billet bars and making it work.... and i just never had the cash to throw into a I HOPE IT FITS project.LOL

 

just use chickenfence and duct tape lol
