Thx for the info slim & polo. When I decide to get some new taillights and the Type-R "H" emblem, I will then de-badge my car.

yup. any type of non abrasive adhesive remover and a sponge...hair dryer helps in loosening the adhesive before you clean it off.

hair dryer??? wait i can use a hair dryer to help remove the emblems, and stuff??? and it wouldnt harm the paint??? my friend said he just used a screwdriver covered in some soft cloth, and he just popped it right off.... ? so you say dental floss and goo gone is the safest/best way to go? or is there a safer way?

heat the emblem with the hair dryer...peel the badge...continue to heat the remaining adhesive...dont cook your car just get the adhesive warm enough to become soft...use bug and tar remover (designed for removing stuff from your paint) or goo gone along with a soft sponge to remove the rest.....wax and buff....done. easy as that and safe for your paint

take ya 30 to 40 min from start to cruisin

^ what slim referred to is only for the civic and DX/LX/EX emblems only. Until Outsider told me abt the "H" emblem being removed from the backside, I didn't know how that was done. Here is a write up by Handa Accessories of how to do it: http://www.handa-accessories.com/civ...oldemblems.pdf. Btw, this link also shows how to take off the civic emblem.

D.floss/goo-gone is the safest. If you use a screwdriver there is more of a chance of scratching your paint and if u just rip it off u could take some paint with you
