I had the dealer take off the civic and ex badges and he scratched the f out of it....i'm pissed...

little b
holy ****.. if a dealer did a **** job on my car i would be in there the next day screaming at them. You should go in there and demand they fix it and you won't back down unless they've done a satisfactory job. Cause, they might just slap some touch up paint on and do a **** job.

For me though, somebody stole it... so I was REALLY pissed.

ouch, someone stole your badges, like which ones??? if all of them, dayum!!!!

but hey for bethany, try going to walgreens, and buying this touch up stuff called gs27 it works wonders on small scratches! its maybe close to ten dollars and all you need is a cotton cloth or something, and once you put it on and rub it in, you sou cannot tell that the scratches were there.

that stuff doesnt work too well in the long run though. its basically just wax. wax will do the same thing. the best thing ive heard, was if youre lucky enough to find the right shade of nail polish. then you have this tiny little brush and you can just keep retouching it if you get any new ones. my front bumper was WAY chipped from driving behind diesels on the freeway for 140k miles, adn so i got some of the dupli-color paint from autozone, and i sprayed a couple nice even coat of it over the chipped areas, it looks pretty good, theres no clear coat, so its not as shiny as the rest of tha paint, but it looks better than it did. im just waiting till i have all of my exterior stuff done, then im painting the whole car anyway, so its good enough for now.
