got bored the other day and painted the valve cover, looks better than i thought it would for only taking about an hour to prepare and paint.

for some reason i cant drag and drop pics like in other forums
the pics were taken without the center valve cover bolt cause while putting it back it, i heard a crack so i backed it out and once the bolt came out of the hole, i was looking at it and it broke, there was a crack in the middle of the threads, im one lucky kid getting that out without it breaking.

Looks really good. Now you need to get some new bolts for that exhaust shield and polish it up. Look at mine, and you will see how good it can look with about an hour and a wire wheel.

I did mine a while back too.. thought I would stick it on here as I havnt yet!!
Your blue one looks amazing, unfortunatley I have searched everywhere (locally) and could only get a few colours in heat proof paint..
Here she is

yeah the paint i used is just a regular paint and then i cleared it with a heat resistant paint and it holds up fine, if you do it that way you can get any color paint you want, so i got some metallic blue, it was like $10 a can but it came out great, i will get a close up pic soon.
