DIY Black Housings... Foggy...

Can anyone tell me what is going on? I sealed those things up like crazy... when I turn on my lowsand highs it clears out... but what can be done to keep them from fogging again??

Make sure the seal by the bulb is secure too, i would say that Fogs would be more prone to that type of foggin up cause they are closer to the ground and get splashed more

This may be an odd question, but did you dry them out before you sealed them? Otherwise you only sealed in the precipitation.

They shouldn't be sealed in the first place. The lights should have a drain on the bottom.

Well they are sealed exactly the same way as they came off... just the caulking... and believe me, I had so much caulk on it it was crazy. I baked them again in the oven and let them sit in my house for a couple days and I just put them back on today...

If you look at the bottom of your lights, you will see a black tube the 90s off the the back side. That is the drain for the lights. Its there so that when your lights heat up the air inside has somewhere to go. Also it lets them dry out if they happen to get some water in them.

You know those bags of something they put in beef jerky and what not to keep them dry? They suck up water. Get a bunch of those and put your headlights in a big plastic bag with some of those for a while (a day maybe?) and then seal them up after that. Those little baggies will suck all the moisture out.
