Dual Pod Dash
What do you think? They are cheap but do ya think they'd be okay with nice gauges in?

RE: Dual Pod Dash
They may be decent. It's hard to say without seeing them on a car.

RE: Dual Pod Dash
I think they'd be fine. Looks like good quality, even though they may be cheap. I'm not a big fan of that type of gauge pod, though.

RE: Dual Pod Dash
I was wondering if you could put the A-Pillar gauge pods on a car with Side Curtain Airbags. Common sense would say that it would be smart to mount gauges in something that can explode.

RE: Dual Pod Dash
Obstruction in any way of the airbag = Very bad idea

RE: Dual Pod Dash
Thats what I figured, guess I will have to look into something like the gauge cluster pods when its time to get the S/C'r on the car or do with out.

RE: Dual Pod Dash
they look fine... but i would probably paint them to match the car...
eventualy ill be trying them... with a temp and voltage display in them... cause im more into my stereo then racing ;) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1 |
RE: Dual Pod Dash
I would get the dash pod before the a pillar ones. I think it looks more stealth plus the guages wouldnt be glowing in your eyes

RE: Dual Pod Dash
How bout install? Is it just those 2 screws? And is it pretty rough getting the gauges plugged in?
|
RE: Dual Pod Dash
thats all ive seen to them....
from what ive read you take off your cluster trim and just replace it with this one with the two screws and run your wires to what ever... looks realy easy~! |
