eBay Racing Steering Wheels

So whats up with the ebay racing steering wheels? Are they any good? And do the hub adaptors they come with work ok?

Don't do it! Look for a wheel w/ an airbag. Your life is worth more than 50 bucks...worth more than 500 even for a sweet OEM wheel.

Yes I know but that does still not answer my question. Does anyone know what the difference is?

I wouldnt see a problem with the actual wheel but Idon't know if I 'd trust the hubs. Buy an NRG hub then buy a cheap wheel off ebay, the few extra dollars would be worth it IMO. I'm upgrading to aftermarket specifically to get rid of airbags. All the wrecks I've been in the airbags were the only thing that injured me and caused more damage and they weren't needed, I hate them.

I have an ebay one with a sparco hub. Works out fine. Only thing wrong with them is they are made of some cheap ass light metal and are not wrapped in "real leather"like they say they are. I like mine, just don't cheap out on the hub.

Ebay steering wheel = Sharp chunk of metal sticking into your ribcage if you smack into something while driving. End of story.

I really liked this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ksid=p3907.m32
And it doesn't come with a hub so I'd get a good one then I guess.

i wouldnt do it, when it comes to safety last thing i would buy is something from ebay. half the stuff on there doesnt even meet the state safety requirement, be a baller and find a Type r ors2kimo way better than the metal and the have airbag
