Are you talking about the JDM front end? That's not type r, that's JDM.
Someone on here has the 6th gen (96-00) body with an integra front end, but it's not JDM. Can't find the thread though.

You can go ahead and buy the JDM front end for around 3k, and as far as the cost of converting, who knows.
