Default EK Civic Si cluster

I have an AT but am saving up to get a swap w/ a MT conversion....if I get a hold of a Si guage cluster, would I be able to use it with an AT or do I have to wait to get a MT?

there are three little connectors that just plug into the unit. If you take it out, you will see how simple it is to just pull it out and plug in the new one.

Im not sure about the auto the manual thing, but the tach will work. I just switched gauge clusters to one with a tach.

The cluster is plug n play, it has all the wires for the in the harness for what is or isn't there (mainly the tach). The only issue is if the SI doesn't have the auto's gear indicator than you won't be able to plug that back into the gauge when you do the swap...... I don't think it'll pose any problems since all that is there to do is light up to allow the user to know what gear they're in......

Also to keep the milage the same from the clusters all you need to do is swap the Speedometer from one to the other, there are 4 screws that bolt the speedo into the cluster but you have to take the clear lense, light bezel and gauge bezel off to get the gauge out.... it's really easy.

thanks for the info. but since i'm not worried about what the mileage says, it'd be ok to just plug in and go AND the tach will work right? (sorry it's just i want to be absolutly sure)

It's entirely plug n play....... if you are worried take your current cluster out and look at the plug that connects to the left side of the gauges, notice it has a light blue wire in it....... yea that's the tach signal wire.....

The mileage matters if you ever sell the car...... I personally don't wanna run any risks and it's simple operation to swap it....... that's me.
