Default EK for EJ? Help please.

Quick question.

I was browsing CL for some new bumpers for my EJ project and there was a seller selling front and rear bumpers for an EK and I was wondering if the rear would fit. It's for a '96 EK on my '96 EJ. Thanks.

i'm assuming your talking about EK= hatch and EJ= your coupe? if so then i dont think it would work. You can find one from a sedan. not 100% sure on this though

I wasn't completely sure. Thanks for the clarification. The deal was too damn good to be true for me.

The front bumper off the 96 Hatch should fit on your 96 coupe. The rear will not I think.

The coupe and hatch have the same front end. The rears are different. And your car is actually still referred to as an EK. Any 96-00 is an EK.

wrong.

They are all EJ with the exception of the JDM civics which are EK, the del Sol which are EH and EG and the Si which are EM

Every Honda dealer near me refers to all 96-00 Civics as EKs. The Si is the exception obviously being the EM1 and B series. Thats what I was told a long time ago when I started buying parts direct for my 98 sedan and my 2000 Hatch.
