Emblems
So I was thinking about taking off the (H) and the (LX) emblems and moving the (civic) one to the middle where the (H) one was. I think that will look pretty cool, maybe I'll tint the (civic) one so its darker also. But I was thinking my car is 9 years old so do you think by taking the badges off there is going to be some discoloration left on the car.
i beleive the Civic and LX are both on their just by some kind of adhesive but the H has two holes behind it (which i'm not sure if the Civic decal would cover). IMO i think de-badging the CIVIC and the LX looks good but leaving the H looks good, kind of symmetrical.
Discoloration might be an issue, i debadged my 99 and you can KIND OF see where the emblems used to be.

Let me know how this goes if you actually do this. I have been thinking about removing the emblems as well, and i like the idea of moving the "Civic" badge to the middle where the "H" used to be. I removed the front "H" the other day. There is a plastic "H" shaped molding behind it, so you can still see where it was, but now it's black instead of chrome. I like how it looks, as my exterior theme for my ride is black & red.
if i was you id leave the H logo on the trunk cause of the holes... only thing i would do is get some color matching spray paint that matches your paint and just paint it and stick it back ON....
thats what i plan to do with mine... tho im just gonna buy a new H so its in good condition so the paint will be smooth and no extra junk on it..... im just to lazy to shave my badges.....
im gonna leave my civic tho.... but i will remove the EX definatly.LOL

If you want to do a complete de badge than you'll need to find some lil rubber plugs to fit in to the holes...... if you are putting something over the wholes (sticker or new badge) it'd suggest putting some sealent on the holes to prevent leakages... I swapped my rear one for a (yes it's ricey but it's subtle and it goes with the theme I'm going for) carbonfiber backgrouned'd H badge and it just used 3M adheasive to attach to the body but I put some rtv black silicone over/in the holes to seal it just incase. I haven't had any leaks ....
