I bought a Type R grill on Ebay for 30 bucks, and it looks fine. There were a lot to chose from so you might want to check it out.

my ebay type-r grill fit perfect as well. Mines a 6th gen as apposed to your 8th gen, but it was well worth my $30. Fit well, matched by OEM black suprisingly well, i say if you can find one get one

you got any pics? (ps flip its an 05, therefore being 7th gen)
