a lot of them can be installed w/o removing the needles. i had a little problem with my needles when i changes my gauges in the stang but eventually got it corrected.

Well, I decided to let the shop do it for me coz I read online how long it takes, and if you screw up the needles, your pretty much screwed. It's gonna cost quite a bit for them to install it, but I rather have them do it instead of me screwing up my car.

Yeah, I would be quite pissed if I screwed up my car that I just got 2 weeks ago. Plus, the shop sells the indiglo gauges quite often so they are quite experienced at installing them. I have trust in them that they won't screw up my car. Hell, I'm paying $80 for the installation <IMG src=smileys/smiley3.gif border="0">

Well, I haven't seen mine yet but I know that some (entire dash lights up) comes with a dimmer switch to change from blue to green at nite. I'll try to find a picture of the reverse indiglo gauge to show what it will look like compared to the other type.

Personally, I like the reverse indiglo gauge faces (type I'm getting) and they seem to stand out more than the other type. Plus, the reverse is the more popular of the 2 now.
