wow, the mugen lip was originally designed for aesthetic reasons, mainly being because when do you think a civic reaches speeds that require ventilation to the braking system? that's right, you don't. Mugen had different plans for the lip, but it could be used to give direct air flow to the brakes. NASCAR is on a totally different spectrum, i don't know why you would even bring that up. OG mugen equipped civics had no intention of reaching NASCAR performance.

 

Well this thread has made my mind up, and I'm personally going type R front and rear, with stock sides.
I'm not going to be stopping that fast that much, so yeah, lol.
