Default Glow Gauge Question

Once again, I have problems with wiring (my worst aspect). Wires hate me. Anyone know where to connect the + red wire from the glow gauge to the car? I have a 94 Civic. There are 2 connection clips that go into the cluster itself, do I splice into them?

Ok so here are the 3 connection clips, 2 big ones and one little yellow one that clip into the back of the cluster. And second is the little red + wire I need to splice into somewhere? Iv tried splicing it into the clips and it doesnt work. I did get it working once by splicing it into the left clip, but it only would light up when the car key was in the aux position. Help!

If its a gauge light, i would think you would want to wire it to your parking light power, or even your gauge cluster light power wires, but the parking light wire was easiest for me to find, down around the fuse pannel, I just spliced into them and connected my wiring to the Parking/headlight output, and grounded the black one to the interior framing.

When i did mine, I had all the steering column covers off, so I just traced the color of the wires running to the HL switch down under to the fuse panel, then started flipping the switch while testing the outputs, I found the one that worked the parking /headlights, so when the parking lights come on, the backlit comes on, I will try and take a pic of the wire tomorrow, might make things easier for you, its the only one you need to supply them power, and just ground the black wire somewhere.

It's too cold and late to do it now, lol.,
