Default grant steering wheel in a 99 civic some pointers

i jus got done installing a grant wheel onto my 99 civic and ran into some problems so i would like to pass the info on

i recently bought a grant fx splash wheel in white (coolest steerin wheel i ever saw its not vinyl its almost like fiberglass look)

but i got the anti theft with it so the kit contained a momo hub a momo/grant adapter then the piece to that is on the steering wheel to go on the bottom of the lock mech. to the top lock mech. which in turn makes the steering wheel way to close to your body to drive.

so what i had to do was take it to a machine shop and give them the momo/grant adapter and make it mate with the bottom lock mech. to cut out the piece that was on the back of the steering wheel.... now it sits at a great distance from me close to stock.....

if you do get the momo hub with the adapter and a grant wheel it will work

if anyone interested in how good the anti theft is i love it and probably the best mod i did so far...makes me sleep a lil better knowing thieves will have a lil harder problem with no steering wheel in the car...
