Default Grille idea

I was thinking, and one of the ideas I came up with was to cut outthe stock grilles and install black mesh grilles in their place, just to sort of add a little subtle customization to the front bumper (in addition to the lip I'm getting)... anybody have any thoughts on this?

lol well no offense, but that idea is not urs, hella people do the whole mesh thing........bottom line is the amount of time it takes to do it right, is not worth the outcome. It looks cheap and chinzy, plus its a downgrade installin chicken wire on the car lolim sayin this cuz ive done it myself, youll be much happier with just buyin a direct fit Type R or w/e else you can find.......

i don't have too many opinions, people post on this forum to get other peoples "opinions", so...thats what i gave him. i'm not a "custom hater", and the proof is my car. aka, it's not stock.

It looks good on some cars, but I wouldnt do it. And starts to look like crap after a wile. Leave the grill as it is..or if you really want to do it, look into gillcraft grills.
